I’d dearly love a call from either of my Grandmothers right about now! You never realize what you have lost until they are gone.

ses, my grandmothers were very special women and one more conversation with either of them would be a real treasure. Right about now, I’d settle for a call from either of my parents (also now gone).

That was the hardest thing about parting with my mother, I couldn’t pick up the phone and give her a call–for any reason. Her birthday was last Saturday.

She still pronounces hello like “hwo,” but can say “I’m not finished talking yet!” Um… no. Lynn, as a mom, you should know this!

She finally has Liz nicely listening to her grandmother, behaving, and now she spoils the moment.

Give it a rest, algurka, I don’t know a parent anywhere that wouldn’t intervene and find out who was on the phone. Mom couldn’t possibly know who was on the other end since Liz hasn’t said a word.

Maybe she was expecting the call. Maybe she could tell by the expressions.

I got the feeling that Lizzie was really just thinking that rather than saying it aloud.

Actually, keltii, if you’ll look again, Lizzie says “I not finished talking yet!” when she should have said, “I’m not finished talking yet!” which would have made it a complete sentence using proper pronunciation.
