Duct tape and WD-40, the only tools you’ll ever need. If it moves and it isn’t supposed to, duct tape it. If it’s supposed to move and doesn’t, WD-40 it.
If that was all the Ben ever uses, then I think I would fix the door myself. Assuming the screws are still there, fill the screw holes with wood filler (or a toothpick), and then screw the screws back in. Actually, the toothpick would be quicker since you don’t have to wait for the wood filler to dry. And it does work. I have done it occasionally.
