Why do they call you “governor”? You’re not my governor! Plus, when the Brits start driving on the right side of the road, I’ll start considering converting to the metric system. Although, knowing 2.54 cm = 1 inch and a calculator has done me well so far.
Reminds me of a Donald Duck cartoon where our Duck, still with the self-image issues, is strolling down a sidewalk as some character behind him yells, “Duck! Hey, DUCK!!” And as Donald is in the midst of a “Yeah-I’m-a-duck-and-I’m-proud” thought process, he walks face-first into an overhanging branch and winds up on the pavement. Character comes up from behind and says, “Didn’t you hear me!? I was telling you to duck!!”
