On another note, I would like to know what folks like zippycats think of the white supremacist activities in Charlottesville. Especially with the shouted threats of sending Jews to ovens, the KKK-style torches, the Nazi salutes proudly displayed on camera, and, oh, just incidentally, now a murder by vehicle. Probably just some poor, oppressed, misunderstood white folk, amiright?
It has been found that this was organized, there were several groups told to meet there so we know it wasn’t spontaneous. Another is that Virginia is a right-to-carry weapons state and they came in helmets, sticks and guns to that rally. This is the colorful racists side of the Dark Side of the USA. Very dark. There were 39 injured and 5 in intensive care. Even some of the Republicans hardliners found that are not this hard. Some of them fought the original Nazis and don’t cotton to the American version marching so proudly. Pres. Trump denounced it but it was very weak and almost equivocating.
