Never really had a dad, so have missed that part of my life for a long time. Do really miss my mom though. She has been gone 11 years and it seems like a lifetime.
I miss my dad! He pass away on the same day that the late Esther Earl was born. Esther passed away just after her 16th Birthday of thyroid cancer. Her birthday has become Esther Day, a day when you tell family and friends that you love them. Dad, I love you!   http://www.tswgo.org/esther-day/
Dad walked out left my mom. So when I saw him again decades later he was a stranger with a familiar face. But no love there. Mom, yes. Lived with her the last four years. First two she took care of me, last two I took care of her.
My father had no part in my up-bringing; he just earned the money. Mother was a control freak who monitored everything I did. I’m glad I ended up like my father.

I was blessed with a wonderful dad, I miss him so much every day! I’m still blessed with a wonderful mom, thankfully!

I don’t know why she wrote this today, but it is two years today that my Dad passed. I miss him every day.
