Good morning and a wonderful Tuesday, Graham Crackers! Whether Mr. Hollingsworth or Route Nine, I think that kitty may be in trouble.

Yum Yum has given up on grasshoppers (she’s already caught 5 today), and has graduated to crickets (3 to date). I tell her she’s a mighty huntress and a very clever girl, and she goes out and gets another one. Fortunately, she releases them by the door and they hop out again. Re yesterday’s comment, she doesn’t eat them. Therefore, there is no ick and eew factor unless one has a dislike for the critters to start with.

What do you do when you have a mouse problem? You get a cat. There must be one of the Ten Cats that is a mouser…….obviously, it’s not this one.

You’ll have to forgive me for all the going back to school related pictures of the past two days. As a retired teacher, they appealed to me. I live one block from a middle school and starting tomorrow morning, I can hear the school buses rumble past my kitchen window as I brew my morning coffee. I can’t tell you how good it feels, even though this will be my ninth fall of retirement. FTW!

I thought at first it was Oliver but mice would like him….and he them!
