As a kid living as a military brat overseas, it was the annual Sears Toy Catalog that was eagerly waited for. Had to order EARLY for items to get there from ZI (Zone Interior aka “The States”).
Another topic - As pointed out by Milano99 on another comic, I think that we owe the GoComics Staff a THANK YOU for the absence of the electronic equivalent of what the US Navy sent to the crippled cruise liner off of Pacific Mexico. The loss of those purveyors of junk is a gain for us all!
