Listen up, please folks. Those of us who still frequent the Annie comments section have started a âletterâ writing campaign to GoComics. Weâre sending comments to GoComics admin to request that they start posting Little Orphan Annie reruns. If yâall can help, click on âContact Usâ at the bottom of this page and help us get our message across to them. Thanks a lot.
ActualllllyâŠ. Iâd like to see Garfield kick these spammers in the buttâŠ. into high orbit with an asteroid if possible. Cause then their matter wonât matter⊠:D
Normally, when a cat makes a dog fly, itâs by swiping razor sharp claws at its nose. Itâs usually a necessary and well-deserved message, as canines tend to suffer from a shocking lack of respect for personal distance. ;-)
As wonderful as dogs may seem to us, they seem to regard cats (and other smaller creatures) as delightfully fascinating toys ⊠to chase, bat about and chew, much like a cat torments smaller creatures (before killing them). The food chain does prevail after all.
But we often donât see the frame leading up to Garfieldâs cruelest actions. Well, in his defense, who among us has not had a dogâs nose shoved into our private parts? And maybe wanted to make them âflyâ so as to end their unrelenting âpestitudeâ? (artistic license!).
All creatures generally need a safe distance from creatures who are capable of (and naturally predisposed to) snuffing them out and/or eating them. A dog can easily snap a catâs spine while play-chewing on it, or when laying on top of the poor thing.
However, we are not privy to Garfieldâs motivations sometimes. He often seems a sadistic, unfathomable, schizophrenic sociopath. I for one, would like a little more background on his actions sometimes.
Itâs not worth letting them consume your emotional energy - just flag âem and/or whatever you need to do to get rid of them, and move on. Takes a few hours for them to disappear usually.
There are more important things to worry about, no?

Garfieldâs motivations do not come from anything âReal Worldâ. The come from the fertile imagination of a talented cartoonist, not his ink and paint creation.
At first, I just love Garfieldâs expression but when looking again, Odieâs expression belies that he just seems to take it in stride that this is another experimental effort in which he helps Garfield test gravity. LOL
I think that Garfield must kick pretty hard. I bet i know what that CRASH! was.
Oddie flew out the window and hit a car! LOL. Or a mail box. or something worse.
