I did a taste test with some friends once. We found that I’m the only one of my friends who can honestly and unerringly taste the difference between Coke, Pepsi, and Store-brand Cola.
Also did a taste test with friends years ago. Tested Jiff peanut butter with Skippy and kids like Jiff betterbecause it is sweeter. Tested Kool-Aid versus the leading typical punch; kids like Kook-Aid because it is sweeter. Ads were that White Cloud was the softest bathroom tissue; White Cloud was softer, but Charmin was the better buy (at that time), now Northern is. We had fun.
Reminds me of Linus in “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” The kids were catching snowflakes on their tongues, but Linus declared that he wouldn’t eat the early winter ones; they weren’t ripe enough.
