Cricket: You really think Mr. Quigly went for your serial homework idea? Zipper: Positive! I reminded him that even Charles Dickens wrote in serial form - and was celebrated for it! I told him how crowds used to gather at New York piers waiting for new installments! They'd shout to the sailors, "Is Little Nell dead? Is Little Nell dead?" Cricket: And what did the sailors shout back? Zipper: "Get a life, get a life!" I didn't mention that.
