If we take into account that the fact the knowledge that time travelers were here in the past could potentially alter the future in some manner (assuming time can be that easily manipulated…it’s complicated), then it could easily be that they are time travelers here, they’re just traveling incognito so we don’t catch on that they’re time travelers…you know, for the sake of history and all of that. That’s really the only issue I have with statements such as that one.
