I took my cat to the vet yesterday for his checkup. He’s sixteen and the vet gave him a rabies shot that’s good for three years. He said he does that for older cats to save them the stress of yearly visits.
My springer spaniel, Samantha, gets acupuncture for early arthritis, and shes anxious during the procedure but is happy with the 10 or so treats she gets from her doctor’s assistant. When it’s over, she gives kisses.

I took my two cats to the vet and it takes several hours before they will speak to me!

At least the Doctor didn’t tell you to bend over. She just stuck a thermometer in there.
