    Pretty presumptuous of us to think a flower has no purpose other than to be seen by humans, and a few mythical creatures.

    Perhaps its sweetness isn’t wasted in the wilderness, but is meant to be part of something greater…

    Wild animals can smell things… my dog used to sniff flowers…

    In fact, do we know for certain that those flowers get no joy from each other?

    There are plenty who make use of the flowers even if humans never see them. Bees came about 80 million years before flowers.
