I could NEVER figure those out. I don’t remember ever being told how to, but I suppose I must have been. It was the beginning of a life-long dislike of numbers.
It’s a trick question, because we aren’t told “when” they left. There’s no way to know “when” they get anywhere. My answer is “When they’ve each gone half the distance.”
