They look like character from that Dick Tracy movie made in the 80s. Rat face or something like that.

I thought when you cross the blowers like that something supernatural occurred? Reminds me of an old movie, " Blown with the Wind".

I can dump my leaves into the woods behind my house, but have to cart them through my neighbor’s yard to use his gate to said woods. He is nice about it, though (having cleared out all his trees because he put in a pool) he’s a bit resentful of leave and acorn incursions to his property. Not so bad since he put up the fence (for the pool). Used to be I didn’t have to rake at all— they’d all blow into his yard.
