I like how Leo’s parents are drawn in the realist style of 1950s newspaper comic strips like Rex Morgan M. D. and Rip Kirby, etc.

Poor Leopold, he was so un-traumatized as a child.

I do enjoy seeing Leopold interact with his 1950’s Advertising Images-of-a-Perfect-Couple parents! Don’t be a harsh, unloving child, Leopold!
