Wow. Fantastic Peanuts strip today. I can’t imagine how it would work if it were originally drawn in the 21st century.

Thank you Linus for reminding us about the real meaning of Christmas.

Sad but true!

Why are there two different spellings of the Jewish holiday today? One in the strip, and one in a comment. Which one is correct?

Did you discuss Kwanzaa with Santa? (That would be if you spoke to a Black Santa.)

I really appreciated your birthday wishes. Thank you.

It was great at the Chinese Buffet Restaurant. Yes, Maybe I’m missing the whole point of a Chinese buffet by not actually eating Chinese food. But like you said, it was my birthday after all. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who didn’t have Chinese food. I’ve decided to go there on the first Friday of every month as a little treat for myself because it would get expensive if I ate there every week.

Sounds lovely! Thank you for telling me that. I have never had coffee in my life. I’ve always been a tea drinker and hot chocolate is OK but it always leaves my mouth feeling dry. So I don’t have it very often.

I just can’t be bothered with the fakeness of it all. Christmas shouldn’t be all about spending money on presents anyway. I would be perfectly happy with nothing. It’s why I didn’t participate in the Secret Santa because I would probably end up with something I would never use and the money spent on that could have gone to a charitable cause.

It’s a long story about the curlers so I won’t go into it. They’re still intact and I’ve still got hair. That’s all you need to know. Haha.

the correct one is the original hebrew, חנוכה everything else is an approximation. (As I know perfectly well when trying anything from my mother tongue in english-nobody could speak out my surname in Scotland, let alone spell it).
