    Dogs and wolves have been known to interbreed. I have known farmers, who when they have a female in heat, will stake her outside when wolves are around, to get her pregnant with half-wolf pups. I know one family who had a coyote/dog interbreed. And no, wolves and coyotes will not eat pet dogs – sometimes kill them, but never eat them.
