Pickles must’ve been extra cantankerous from being stuck in Francis’ jacket for so long—poor, Nate. Francis just used his ailurophobia against him. If Nate had run away like he said he would, Pickles wouldn’t be able to catch him, but it is hard for Nate’s body to function under intense fear.

Don’t speak too soon.

Nate underestimated Francis and this is the result.

If he goes to therapy, will Ranma Saotome join him?

Smart move. Francis definitely knows how to use Nate’s fear of cats to his advantage.

This strip is sad because Francis is basically teasing Nate about his fear of cats. Plus, even though I know nothing about American football, I’m pretty sure Francis is out.

5th panel of Chad tossing the “hike” to Nate sums up the state of what the wimpification of American Football has become from it’s heyday in the 1970s with fellows like Jim Otto who knew how to properly hike a football, and his teammate Jack Tatum, who, it was said, when the boogeyman went to sleep at night, he checked his closet for Jack Tatum.
