When I attended my first Major League Baseball game, at around age seven, my dad actually caught a foul ball hit into the stands … and was thoughtful enough to give it to me. I’ve never come close in dozens of games since. A pretty awesome way to welcome myself to the Big Leagues!

I love the word, “BAM” for the hit. I’ve never heard anyone use “BAM” for a hit.
