Where you have multiplexes, you have the opportunity for great (if unintended) double feature combos. One I remember well: Like Water for Chocolate/The Madness of King George.

First thing I saw after reading first two panels was first 3 letters of “assorted”.

If those are his children, I know what to give him for his birthday.

Modern Nancy is missing a gold mine of humor in overlooking the mockery of people with non-average body types.

Those kids don’t like the progeny of those parents.

I really don’t think that this was meant to make fun of anyone. It was amusing because the big people just happen to be standing under a sign about big features and the same with the little kids. Now if there were no signs, then it would be bad. But we’ve all seen some very funny situations people put themselves in. Like a 300 lb person trying to climb into a tiny car. My wife and I once saw a car we thought had no driver. When we got up close enough to see, the driver was a very short person barely able to see over the steering wheel. Sorry, we meant no disrespect but it was funny. I know I’ve done some things people laughed at and I’ve learn to laugh with them. I’m just saying we need to learn to laugh at ourselves. Laughter is the best medicine otherwise we need to outlaw comics.
