Nancy: Every time we have a picnic, it rains.
Sluggo: Naw---Not a cloud in th' sky.
Nancy: I still bet we'll get wet.
Sluggo: How can we?---We're in your front yard.
just learned some history. the fire dept would dig down to the line and then would chop into it and put hoses in the hole to put the fire out. when they would finish they would put a plug in it so the next time they just had to take the plug out. dates back to the early 1800s. i have a fire hydrant in my front yard.
