There really is a movie called Killer Bees (1974). I remember it from when I was a kid, and it’s from the era when Africanized bees were working their way up into the U.S. from Mexico. These are more aggressive, but it turned out they aren’t any more dangerous than vending machines.

The sequel was better, in fact it was “The Bees Knees”!
