"Henry Ford poses with his original prototype" "Model 't'"
?
It’s a Model T model car
He’s really reaching on this one.
The Model A came out before the Model T. I don’t know what happened to models B through S.
I don’t know why this is supposed to be funny, using Model A or T.
This guy’s a mantel case.
I’m guessing the model car is still in its original box, like you’re supposed to keep an original collector’s item.(If that’s not the idea of the comic, I don’t have any other guess.)
The only way I can get funny out of this one is if he posed with both arms outstretched, making a “T” shape.
I really don’t have any idea what the cartoonist means with this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
