This reminds me of “Downsizing”, which I just saw yesterday.

Everybody knows “shrink rays” are pure science fiction. Rickard is just using an ages-old visual trick here, with Cliff standing 40 feet farther behind Pam. Nice try, Tim, but we’re not buying it.

As I learned from the 1960s version of both Ant-Man and The Atom, shrinking in size doesn’t necessarily mean losing mass.

Cliff can sneak into the kitchen and no one will see him.

Would’t your weight remain the same and if not where would the excess mass go when using the shrinking ray?

Don’t point that shrink ray at your crotch, Cliff.
