Whatever people have called them “zombie” isn’t what you mean. Zombies are dead-alive slaves that don’t eat and follow orders. Flesh eating corpses are not zombies. As to what they are who knows? Another word for them like say ghomzul perhaps? But they are not zombies. A rabies apocalypse would do it much the same way.
Leopold’s confidence is heartening. Gary’s gloomy thoughts match the shadowy panel 2 more than the light of panels 1 and 3. Go home and brood, Gary, before the sun toasts you….
