He is your cousin, why does he need to remember your birthday! My grandma on mom’s side had 18 kids, my dad’s side 6, and I had over 84 1st cousins. Remember their birthdays! Geez, I was lucky I could remember my own.

I, too, come from a large family. And my birthday is often overlooked. It really pays to be born just after the New Year celebration. Today was a working day for me, and the weather is soaking wet. But I am thankful that I have a job after two years of searching, and one of my aunts (who has been battling bone cancer for years) is still alive and cooking. Love. Her. Food.

This weekend will be my weekend for celebrating, and whilst renting a snowplow is totally out of the question, I plan to have fun one way or another.

At least in today’s strip, we don’t have to see Sedine’s unshaven legs.
