You probably can’t do it anymore, but in the bad old days I saw guys get under the vehicle, hook up an electric drill, and wind the odo back as far as they wanted.
255,000 on my VW diesel………..98,000 and deceased GM Suburban.
The odom is stuck on 000000.00 It’s giving Cosmo the silent treatment.
Back in the day, speedometers had a “tattletale” thet would indicate your max speed and could be reset to zero.
1 Mile driven… 10 Miles pushed. 1 Mile driven… 10 Miles pushed.
More like 10,000. Because it hasn’t been driveable more than that since purchase.

My odometer doesn’t talk either. Odd.
Actually it indicates 75K on my ‘97 Geo; I lived 8 miles from work… then last year I retired.
I passed 200,000 on my ‘95 pickup last year.
