I could tie a four-in-hand, Half-Windsor, and Full Windsor by the time I was twelve. I stopped using them after my first day of residency. I learned to tie a bow tie the day before a San Diego Comic-Con because the Mrs was going to cos-play Amy Pond and I was going to play The Doctor. Bow-ties are cool.
