But a cat will lie on your stomach and purr! One or more of each (dog and cat) is ideal.
I love the affection between Red and Rover. It’s a shame we never see that between him and his family. That would be nice for a change.
Cats show love and affection in their own way. There’s nothing like the love of a dog.
One of my cats always gives me a lick or 2 when I crawl into bed. I usually sleep with my arm over him for at least part of the night – especially in the cool weather.
My kitties never licked me with their sandpaper tongues and that’s ok, they purr. Can a dog purr? I rest my case.
