Working hard on the next two week’s story lines. The last couple days’ worth of news has been a fertile ground for ideas.
This week is another example of back when I had to manually erase the background from each speech balloon. Each of these strips actually took longer to produce graphically than the average week takes me today.
Also the first appearance of Teddy. He came about due to a reader request.
Many people younger than I don’t even remember a Royal Wedding. Two of my own children were married that year and I did a top layer of a cake in which I used the recipe that I read of the Royal wedding cake. I was discussing that recently in a “fruitcake” discussion on another board- I did some fabulous ones once that may not have achieved appreciation. I can still see the wedding in my mind’s eye, very lovely.
