Poor fellow, as he drives through snowfall, his mind probably sees white grits.

I thought grits were white?

So is snow? But you can have yellow snow and yellow grits. Fortunately yellow grits are not the same as yellow snow.

Had a whole to-do list for today, only did one thing on the list, but I am getting other things accomplished. Why is it, when you set out to do something, you find something else that needs done, and do that instead?

I got EIGHT things off my* to do list *before NOON!!

I’m NOT SLACKING!! Just found ohter things that needed done, not on my list! :-P

I have been busy. I made a tomato sauce which we use for a number of dishes, so I make a lot. I baked bread. I made polenta and I am making a sausage and polenta dish that is similar to lasagna with polenta filling in for the noodles.

Oh Grit One. Don’t PASS out on us!

Hola Locos. I for one want to keep getting older too. But I’d like to stop aging in looks.

Shika, you will always be one young looking chick and I will become an old geezer forever enthralled by your youthful beauty and that goes for the other lovely ladies we refer to as the resident locos.

Remember that banana loaf recipe I used the other week? Did I tell you that I was also out of vanilla extract, so I used almond extract instead? I figure I used three original ingredients to the recipe.

But it tasted great anyways.

I might pull a Shika later on, but I’m getting ready for bed now. If anyone’s around when I say good night, I’ll say it then. If that makes any sense….

I’ll bet it did Shika! Almond extract is equally as good, and a very suitable substitution.

cleo would you possibly have time to come by and help me with Turkey Day? Please? :-)
