My little guy is the total opposite….he carries his toys around like they are his babies. They just have a lot of slobber on them, so in the washing machine they go every once in a while.

My folks had a terrier that would work a small hole in a toy, then pull all the stuffing out through that tiny little hole.

My daughter and I both got our dogs at the same time, about 10 years ago. Her’s still have the same toys she got them then, ours don’t. Meet my avatar Bitsy, AKA “Killer”.

I was looking at a customer’s car when their Golden started bringing out all his stuffed toys, trying to get me to play with him. I was too busy, so after a few attempts, the dog would leave his toy next to me and go off to get another one. During one of his trips away, maybe between the third and fourth toy, a stray terrier scooted in through the open garage door, snagged a stuffed bear and ran off with it.My customer wasn’t concerned. “Happens all the time,” she said. “The lost toy will show up in my mailbox tomorrow.”

I don’t know, Sakura, your bear-in-bits still has a smile on his face.

Just like with human children; the rattiest toy is the most loved, that’s how it got that way.
