So Monty, the worldās biggest bumbling idiot, just ups and creates possibly the most complex device ever created by man, and does it in his living room? Big stretchhhhhhh there. Perhaps if the robot had made itā¦.
Steve and other doubtersā¦.. Monty started out in the strip as a brilliant, nerdy inventor, but physically weak and unattractive, with zero social skills,
and a sort of unrealistic over-confidence that makes his projects and his relationships fail.

There have been too many changes of story line, characters, etc, including a couple of major retcons, to give a coherent timeline in one commentā¦
in fact, I believe he originally was said to have invented EB3ā¦ which is really impressive.
But later that was removed from both his memory and the back story, and Doc brought the little android from another planet(?)

Nonetheless, I believe heās still supposed to be capable of genius-level invention,
if he would just focus, and not step on his own feet.
Geesh, E.B.! Donāt you know about action figures (a.k.a. dolls for boys)? Only a few are āanatomically correct,ā and those are not commonly sold to the general publicā¦.
