I don’t see socialism vs capitalism as the primary takeaway from this strip. How about the irresponsible lecturing others about responsibility. Or how about the spoiled brat giving momma (the authority figure) a rough time. Or perhaps laying a guilt trip on others (could work both ways here). Or poor Boyd caught in the middle of someone else’s dispute…or maybe he played a part in it.
