With Brit NHS, there will be no young MD’s on the next appointment!

I’m pretty sure it’s age plus his eating and drinking habits. I know I can’t abuse my body and bounce back the next day like when I was in my 20s and 30s.

Sorry, I should have said that the nurse was feeling around for a vein on my left arm and then tried to look for one in my right arm. He must have found a vein in the left arm because he put the needle in. Only for no blood to come out so it must have disappeared. He then told me they were no longer allowed to try the other arm. They can still look for veins but they can’t attempt to put the needle in.

I can’t really see me lasting much longer as a donor because if this happens two more times, I will be disqualified. At least that’s what I heard.

I’m wondering if the problem you’re having donating blood recently could be some kind of warning sign of a medical condition? I hope not! But it might be something that should be looked at. And like FAN O’ LIO said, you’ve already done more than your fair share. (I hate to admit that I stopped donating blood when I got jealous that my blood was having more fun in other people than it was having in ME!)
