One drank coffee, went to the rest room, then was talking and talking, walked around, drank coffee, went for lunch. The other one started working. There is no better evaluation method than let them do their job. Problem is, you need to sign the contract first, and only afterwards, you can see them at work (or not). A lot of people seem not to understand that they weren’t hired to drink the coffee and make their living. A work contract is a barter trade. One gives the money, the workspace and the tools, the other is doing what is needed to make the business work. One would think, that was easy enough to understand. But it isn’t. And you will only find out later, who does.
