Mary Ann deserved the best deal, being the star and all. That “Ginger or Mary Ann?” question is not really a question!

A quick google search shows that none of the cast got royalties.

And now this A&J will become “click bait” with folks (like Mr. Lumley) trying to verify the statements proffered. Art becomes reality.

BTW, whether it’s true or not, Arlo did not say “Mary Ann” got syndication royalties, only that she asked for them…

At the end of Gilligan’s island several of the cast members appeared in other shows. Alan Hale Jr. in Batman as a fellow named “Gilligan”. He also appeared on Wild Wild West with a cameo by Jim Backus and at the end of the episode talked about taking a vacation on an island to the Gillgian’s Island theme music. Russel Johnson & Dawn Wells appeared on different episodes of The Invaders.

Dawn….er…Mary Ann was always my favorite.

The “lagoon” was less than a foot deep and they usually had to skim litter and trash off of it before filming.
