It’s bright and sunny outside. The forecast is for 83 today, so we’ll leave the windows open for a while at least.
After doing laundry yesterday, the day was pretty quiet. We enjoyed the sunshine until the temp inside got up to 85, then we turned on the AC. Michael spent the day in bed as he always does when sick. I’m trying to keep arm’s length away from him so I don’t catch his cold.
Good news – 36 hours so far without an “accident” from Buddy. He’s scheduled to visit the vet on Monday. I don’t know if I’m hoping he’s healthy or that he has a bladder infection. At least with the latter, the behavior can be easily cured. The vet tech I talked to asked if there have been any recent changes in his life. I almost laughed out loud. What hasn’t changed in the past few months? He has a new family, a new home, a new “roommate”, new food, unaccustomed travel, and he walks outdoors on a leash in new locations (different every day for a while there).
Cloudy, had been snowing as well. Starts to warm up over the weekend.
Aside from laying low today we’ll head out to a near by pet store to get crickets for a Tarantula. Don’t worry she a smaller breed, barely larger then a wolf spider. The nephew had a Mexican Stripped Legged Tarantula, she was big enough to completely cover the palm of my hand. (pleasant dreams)
We spent the night in LV, and should be in San Diego very soon. Great driving so far. I understand they pass out Valium at the California border to us Northern folk. Traffic is sooooooo bad in CA.
Jan, we’ll wave to you as we pass your old haunts. :))
