The heat is finally coming in along with the humidity. Going to be in the mid 80’s for today and tomorrow and then down to the mid 70’s after that.
Not much to do today. We go to the Chiropractor in the morning and after I drop Barbara at home I will go to a supermarket and pick up a few items that are on sale for my daughter who is away on a cruise to Bermuda.
In the afternoon I will start doing some paperwork for the Life in the Spirit Seminar.
Yesterday we went on a walk with Pinto down to the nearby lake. There’s a little floating dock that you can walk out to and we sat out there for a while enjoying the lake and trees around us. It was very peaceful and nice. We did not see any alligators although the signs said that they are there. While we were there we saw 3 turkey vultures that looked like they were playing in the wind. They would hover and swoop and bank turns and were fun to watch. When we started walking back, they started circling us. They swooped down to within about 10 feet of us, close enough to see the naked red heads. I thought they might be hunting Pinto (who was on his leash) so Michael picked him up and carried him for a while. The birds immediately lost interest in us and went elsewhere, so I guess I was right. Michael didn’t put him back down until we were under some trees away from the lake. I remember reading stories about birds of prey taking small pets.
It’s hump day. That means a 12 mile drive to the nearest laundromat for me. Ah well, it gets me away for a couple of hours.
We are trying to eliminate the urine smell from the RV and the car. We’ve been cleaning with Pine Sol and spraying with Nature’s Miracle. I don’t think we’ve got it all yet, though. I can still catch a whiff when I sit down on the couch so we’ll have to try to sniff it out and treat it. Once we have treated everything and left it for a few days to allow the enzymes to eliminate the smell, then we will use an upholstery cleaner to get rid if the sticky residue from the enzyme treatment.
It looks like the start of a beautiful day, sunshine and blue sky.
There was a incident over in Barton, a town just over the hill from us (depending on which road you take). Anyway, this guy was cooking and the smoke detector kept going off, he got sick of it and took a shotgun to it. When the authorities took it away he got a hand gun and demanded it back. All said and done he’s got a date in court coming up soon. That’s all the excitement I can stand.

Good Sunny morning, Vagabonds,
We probably will get up to 60 today. Love this weather! Speaking of weather, we’re both still under the weather. Bummer!
The only thing I have planned is a trip to the place to see about the CPAP machine. Don’t know if they have them in stock or not.
xoxoxo
