Today we are taking the Toyota in for her first check-up. It’s hard to believe we’ve put 5000 miles on her in barely 5 months. She doesn’t record mileage while being towed, so that’s only “driving around in town” mileage. I made the appointment online and printed out driving directions so we’re good to go. We have a maintenance contract so the service won’t cost us anything. I did call to make sure we are in Toyota’s computers so that they know this.
Yesterday’s laundry excursion turned out to be longer than usual. First I went to the wrong place, which happened to be about 12 miles out of my way. Then, when I finally got to the nearby laundromat, every last machine was in use. Ah well. I got some reading done.
Been a while since I posted here because not much exciting is going on in my life right now. However, I want y’all to know, that I still read y’alls comments. We do have one exciting thing coming up though. Our grandson will be coming to visit us and we’ll be keeping him for a week or so. Yay!
Rain showers in the AM,more steady rain in the PM. The good news, temps in the 70s.
Today is the 143rd anniversary of my grand mother’s birth (mother’s mother). I guess the thing that always amazed me was the thought that she was born during the Grant administration. Some of her stories from times gone by like the celebration at the end of the Spanish American war. She passed away in 1970 at 95.
History is a wonderful thing we live it every day.
It got all the way up to 63 yesterday, with a little warmer scheduled for today.
I had my appointment for the CPAP yesterday, but it turns out the sleep study was incomplete. I am soooooooo upset with that!!! The last thing I want to do is do it over again!!!!
On a happier note, we took our Pilot in for it’s first warranty “problem”. It needed something re-set in the exhaust system. Took minutes, and they even washed the car afterwards. Love our dealer! After 52,000 miles there was something wrong. Glad we were back from our road trip when it yelled at us.

Good morning Vagabonds.
Temp got up to the mid 80’s yesterday and more of the same today. Had the a/c on in the car. Ya-hoo
Don’t know what I am going to do today.Think I’ll just play it by ear which is what I do most of the time. Beats living by the clock.
All have a good day.
