Itā€™s funny living here in China, one forgets about the superstitions back home. Friday the 13th is just another day here and the number 666 is considered lucky here in China.

The most likely explanation for the ā€œapocalyptic numberā€ is that, it was propaganda against Nero. The numeric values for NERON KESAR in Hebrew letters add up to 666.

Of course, there is always the POSSIBILITY that that same radio could go back on the ā€˜blinkā€™ with another bump in the road !

Christine, on Night Court, had bought her a small sports car; her Dad went and traded it for a 57 Buick Roadmasterā€¦..which made her furiousā€¦.untilā€¦.she was involved in a wreck with a car similar to the one she hadā€¦.which was totaledā€¦ā€¦when asked about what happened to the Roadmaster, she said ā€œWell, the clock started workingā€ā€¦..

Left speaker in my truck does the same thing. Goes off on after bump and back on after a bump.

I had a pickup that had intermittent wipers. The automotive industry didnā€™t have them until about 10 years later.

The electronic instrument panel on my car went dead and when I took it to the dealer, I was told that it could not be repaired, and a replacement would cost $1300. I told them I would think about it. When I got back my car and started it up, the instrument panel was working again! I guess that makes me a plugger.
