Stel Bel has designed a dynamic poster for Clash of the Bassets!! So much detail to enjoy!

Ursula Houndress gets a role, havenât seen her in ages. Remember when she was called Ursula Undress?
But that is just catty. Juci Bowwow is also stellar in this flick. And of course, Harry Hamburger.

A poster that far exceeded what the movie was able to deliver. Was this Cleoâs big break-through role?

Unless Jason, up top, already knows this guy on friendly terms, it might be time to get a little aggressive in your response.

One of my favorite movies! Great Cleomation in it. Like in the âSinpupâ-movies.
Gorgeous Madusa with her exotic hairdo⌠Pupasus, clearly wisely planning her escape from that not very authentic plotâŚ
Technically, Madusa is her mother. Look up the Greek Mythology.
The human version is close enough:

Additionally, Jason should have brought a book. âWar and Peaceâ comes to mind. Thick and heavy.

Hullo, Cleoians ⌠and internet searchersâŚ.
Here is one of those films that you wanderers in space might be drawn toâŚ
I mean, the one featured in this colorful, action-packed poster by StelBel,
for the Dec 3rd  2020 âCLEO and COMPANYâ on Sherpa
Â
What a film this is⌠swirling with subplots, and the major and minor characters and complex genealogies of mythology.
A tale of heroes and great beauties⌠fabulous creatures and terrible monstersâŚ. and even some characters that were in between.
I donât know how the ancients ever remembered whose offspring was whose, and where everyoneâs loyalties lay!
Â
It was much the same on the set, or so Iâve heard.
Juci Bowwow was gorgeous indeedâŚ. Harry Hamburger her handsome heroâŚ
But⌠Ursula Houndress, though getting older, was still in her siren days⌠playing âArfrodoggieâ , the goddess of beauty herself.
She met Harry Hamburger thereâŚ. and had a puppy with him during or right after the filming!
Â
The already venerable Larry Droolivier played, fittingly, the mighty âZeus.â
Too many other famous canine stars to mentionâŚ
except, of course, we must note the young and beautiful Cleo CliffordâŚ.
playing⌠um⌠âPupasusâ⌠the flying horse?
Well, in this film sheâs a flying horsedog⌠with golden furâŚ. and great golden wings.
Â
Three hours in makeup and costuming every day⌠flying about the set⌠sometimes simulated on greenscreenâŚother times on wires, with power and grace⌠for a basset hound!
Oh, the life of a starlet!

Good morning, Ballardeers! Q Date: 265.98522.83 Sunny skies and slightly above average temperatures for almost a week.
That tears it! JASON!
Wow, Stel. Just wow⌠Do I detect a hint of purplies?
That being said, Iâm gonna take a few to see if GIRTH has more than yesterdayâs toon in color.
Yâall be patient. Thereâs not enough of that around lately. (((((HUGS!)))))

I never saw this movie, but with Stelâs stellar poster and Susanâs great description, I will have to look for it. Good job, ladies!

Cleo must have been exceptional (her role has no mention in the human poster). Kudos on the artwork and originality again, StelBel!!

Your comment made perfect sense!
No reason not to say it
Itâs good to hear from you.Â
After all, I say some of the goofiest stuff around.
I was just riffing on it this time based on her wings in Stelâs poster and the name of the characterâŚAssuming Pupasus was Pegasus.
