There are a bunch of retired computer gaming guys sitting on beaches today relaxing after working hard to figure out how to move those little red dots around in a little plastic battery operated case which was hi-tech for its time. Sure beats the wooden paddle with a rubber ball attached with a cheap rubber band with a staple when I was a kid.
Funny, I never had one as a kid, but I went to YouTube to check, and I ended watching a video of someone else playing the game for five minutes!! (I skipped the beginning) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6cQSF9h39Q

They were addictive games, but to people sitting around you the "primitive’ electronic sounds grew annoying quickly.

Had this and was addicted to it as a kid. $11.89 at Amazon. I’m hopeful to recapture the fun again.

That old Mattel football game was great! My kid still has the one we got him for Christmas.

the game is fun. I introduced my kids to the Midway classics on the Playstation and they play those a lot.

Said it before and I’ll say it again… graphics&sound sell video games, but it’s the game play that’s important
