He is NOT going to die! Lynn the writer stated that there would be some changes to the strip the 2nd time around and that she would not have Farley die, because the first time around she did that she was bombarded with complaints from outraged readers. She also stated that there would be no April character
A good dog mom she may be, but where was she when Farley stepped on this dangerous item? Inside, while Farley was closed out?
I’m not trying to reopen an indoor/outdoor dog debate. I just know that for me personally, my dog will not get random deep cuts on his paws, because I don’t let him frolic by roadsides, broken glass, or metal edges. He may still get injured, but I will likely know why, because I was probably present at the time.
I’m getting a little tired of the nasty interactions between some of the followers of this strip. I’ve read FBOFW for years and enjoy the art work and the story lines but it is, after all, a Comic strip!
Poor little fluffball! The pain of a hurt dog is EXCRUCIATING!!! My Sophie tore a ligament in her leg and that day I started a petition to raise money! Thank God I read that it heals on it’s own, and it did! Don’t hurt Farley now!!!!

Lynn’s Notes:
This is the beginning of a true story: something that happened to our little black Spaniel, Willy.
