That’s a pretty darned loving cat you’ve got there Monty!

The greatest artists are afflicted by wicked depressions. Jim Meddick is one such man, one of the greatest cartoonists in America today.

I like the way Monty’s hair is blowing in the 2nd panel. Nice touch.

I love the tropes, lighthouse, sea breeze, waves. I was expecting an erectile dysfunction or cholesterol drug ad.

Is this a commercial for his jacket, surely not the green plaid pants.

The setting looks a lot like where I live.

The chattering teeth thing works every time for me.

I don’t see paw prints from Fleshy around those teeth. I’m not convinced.

For the record, depression can sometimes lead to suicide. Fleshy just figures, better safe than sorry.

Fleshy is more cat than you can handle, Mr. Montahue! He’s too good for you!
