This seems a bit inconsistent. It’s appropriate that Lottie and Mildred remember how things “used to be” in the original time line, because they were back in 1961 when things changed. Shauna, however, was in the “present day” when time was altered, so just like everyone else in Tackleford she should remember only the “new” time line. Shauna should remember the antique shop as always having been owned by the two old ladies, and if she knew at all who Mr. Beckwith was, she knew him only as a drunken ne’er-do-well. No one on the “present day” side of the time hole should be aware of the previous time line (except probably Grumpaw).

I bet the changes weren’t the girls’ fault at all, but that that pointy-haired guy did something.

It’s a good thing that Calvin didn’t see Mildred’s membership card in the Young Socialists organization (in good standing!). He never would have believed her protestations that she wasn’t a Communist.

Of course Lottie has a provisional detective’s license. So the real question is…why don’t the other girls? They do detective stuff too. They’re sort of doing so right now.
