I love it when Mitzi visits from The Duplex. Boomer is the most enthusiastic suitor, but he forgot that he lacks the ability to pass his DNA on to the next generation. His courtship with squirrel juggling, garbage in a heart, a whole neighborhood’s newspapers wins Mitzi over. Mitzi is so direct: “Okay you’ve won me over. Let’s have puppies.” OOps, sorry, forgot my Viagra (not that it would help).

My brother explained marriage to my like this: At the beginning the she-wolf is almost always in heat. You can visit her anytime day or night. Then one day she has a couple of pups. You come over and she opens the door and asks, “Where’s the meat?” You say, “I didn’t bring any.” She says, “I gotta a couple of pups in here. Go get some meat.”

What a blow! Couldn’t he at least SAY something?

Courtship is sometimes baffling to the un-neutered also. I knew a guy like that. His marriage didn’t last long.

Reading this over in light of Moby’s comment, I think this was even more clever than I first thought! Boomer wanted sex, but was offered parenthood! Run run run!

Well, I suppose he spent so much time trying to get the girl of his dreams he miss the point of actually getting the girl of your dreams. FAMILY.
