Look Peter, I jump on you like this because I'm a writer, and as such, language means a good deal to me. It governs how we communicate; it influences our culture; it gives us a form through which we can express ourselves. Grammar should be revered, not mangled. It's just too important. I hope I'm making sense. Peter: You're coming through real clear. Andy: Obviously not.

I mean, the reason our language changed so much is that we always made grammar mistakes in history. And as it changes, so do we. You can’t really stop it from happening.
