There are red state Democrats who do not agree with Speaker Pelosi, she still supports them as Democrats. The Democrats have a plan to tax the rich corporations and help all Americans with infrastructure, something Trump is agreeable to and the Republicans won’t do.
But first they have to win, and Pelosi has said if they have to oppose her to win the election, then “Just win, baby” She is not pursuing impeachment, it takes attention away from the connection they are making people about financial stability.
Let’s see what kind of parlor tricks the DNC in Cali pulls to keep Pelosi in power. I know she’s a big time bundler for them when it comes to corporate donations so her victory is pretty much assured.
Democrats need to worry about getting elected in November and worry about impeachment later. Keep your eyes on the prize. This administration is imploding under it’s own weight. Be patient.
Nancy Pelosi will win in CA because she represents her district well—-you know, all those San Francisco fruits and nuts the Righties complain about. However, if she is not elected House leader, she will support whoever is elected without problem. She, unlike some, has her eye firmly on the main objective of a blue wave and will work for it regardless of her own position. You might say she works from the Rawlsian Veil of Ignorance, in which public actions are chosen without regard to one’s personal benefit.
Her “just win, baby” response is exactly what we need in American politics- the ability to lose face while getting what needs to be done done. Instead of looking to her own ego, self-esteem, or personal future in a presidential campaign, she is looking to aid what she believes (and I believe) to be the best course for America. We need that from all our politicians, on both sides of the political spectrum.
It certainly is a different approach from the Republican side of the aisle – where every candidate in the primaries is jockeying to be crowned the Trumpiest One of Them All.
At least Blankenship, arguably the most like Trump in the WV race (a decidedly criminal con man), was defeated.

If Pelosi won’t support Trump impeachment she needs to go.
